Nigerians! Please help us, FIRS want to kill us! – NIPOST boss, Maimuna Abubakar cries out (See tweets)
The board chairman of Nigeria Postal Service(NIPOST), Maimuna Abubakar has raised an alarm of how another government agent, Federal Inland Revenue Service is sabotaging the work of the country’s postal service.
Maimuna said FIRS is now selling stamps instead of buying from NIPOST. She said the country’s postal service has the sole responsibility of printing and selling stamps according to the law and as such, FIRS has stolen their mandate.
She also accused FIRS of intellectual theft in a series of tweets a few hours ago as she called the public to come to the aid of the postal service.
