Google has deleted the Crowwe App which belongs to former Presidential candidate, Adamu Garba from its play store.

The deletion of the app on the Goggle Play Store comes after Adamu Garba passionately celebrated President Buhari’s recent ban on Twitter in the country.

Adamu Garba, in one of his celebratory tweets, said that his Crowwe app has defeated Twitter just like David did to Goliath in the biblical story.

He also added that Twitter has no right to interfere in the politics of Nigeria. Hence, the justification of the ban.

“Twitter has no right to infuse into our local political affairs. It’s a company, not a government. By removing our democratically elected President’s speech to the people of Nigeria, Twitter needs to shut down from Nigerian internet space. Twitter needs to get out of Nigeria,”

The Crowwe App has received a handful of criticisms from some of its users. One of such criticisms is the terms and conditions of the app was copied verbatim from a music streaming site, Spotify.
