Following the rearrest and extradition of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra yesterday, Nigerians on popular microblogging application, Twitter have been reacting to the development.
Nnamdi Kanu has been a strong critic of the Nigerian government under President Buhari over the state of the nation and its reluctance to recognize the agitation for the state of Biafra.
A good number of people while reacting to Nnamdi Kanu’s rearrest believe that the Buhari-led administration can apprehend anyone they want to.

The federal government can go through the pain and diplomatic brouhaha to arrest Nnamdi Kanu abroad, but couldn't find Abubakar Shekau who was in Nigeria for over 6 years.

Hypocrisy is when @gimbakakanda call Nnamdi Kanu foot soldiers gullible because he was arrested wearing a Fendi designers cloth when 98% of Northern population that contributed money and recharge cards for @MBuhari is been killed like chicken everyday and are dieing of hunger.

The Biafran leader was said to have been apprehended in London, United Kingdom but further reports suggest that he must have been arrested outside of the United Kingdom, most likely an African country.Ā
