President Muhammadu Buhari for the first time since the 12th of October addressed the nation on the state of the nation.

Well-meaning Nigerians were expecting the President to speak on the demands of the #EndSARS protesters and most importantly, the Lekki massacre carried out by men of the Nigerian Army which led to the death of at least 15 people.

However, rather talking on the critical issues in the country, the President talked about how his administration is dealing with poverty and youth empowerment.
