Bola Tinubu, a presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, declared on Tuesday that he will not resign from politics.
Tinubu stated that he will not leave politics until he is elected President of Nigeria.
He made the statement while courting APC delegates in Benue State ahead of the party’s primaries.
If elected, the APC National Leader promised to bring his vast experience to bear on government.
Tinubu also stated that he is the finest candidate to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
“I will not retire from politics until I am the president of Nigeria,” Tinubu says. My experience as Governor of Lagos State will inform my leadership style in Nigeria.
“There is no fight between me and the opposition PDP candidate.”
If and when elected president of the country, the APC National Leader promised to operate a transparent and open government.
“I pledge to you that I will lead a transparent and open government.” Nigeria is wealthy. What we need to do is reroute and channel our resources in the proper path.”
