This administration still moved into 2021 with it fear of peaceful protest. The bandits get baby of the house treatment while law-abiding citizens get the Kondo on the head. Happy New Year to us all. #FreeSowore law-abiding

How would the accalimed president of Nigeria address Nigerians?
Would he acknowledge the beating&arresting of @YeleSowore ?
Would he justify granting the hardened boko haram a new life to keeping @YeleSowore from him family?@MBuhari or whoever, #FreeSowore— #ENDSARS_ Endsars (@IAmPrincessDfk) January 1, 2021

Arresting a man for seeking his rights on the first day of the year only means one thing and that's to say the government wants to make 2021 hell for Nigerians but we won't sit back and watch this tyranny consume everyone of us. Enough of this madness! #FreeSowore

The Nigerian Government has displayed this expected act of cowardice by re-arresting Sowore on the first day of 2021.
What has he done this time? Has he slept with the president’s wife ???#FreeSowore— timi 🦅 (@timiPR) January 1, 2021
My heart breaks that #FreeSowore is the first tweet I'll be doing in the year 2021. The level of lawlessness, impunity and crass tyranny in Nigeria is disturbing and worrisome.

The Nigerian Government tackles their greatest problem by re-arresting Sowore in 2021.#FreeSowore

1. Is Nigeria no longer a Republic?
2. Is the flawed 1999 constitution suspended?
3. Is this his New Year’s gift to Nigerians?I really don’t understand Buhari’s obsession with treasonable felony. The only thing I can say is, “only a coupist wud be afraid of Sowore”#FreeSowore

Time zones are so weird. Nigeria is in 2021, American Samoa is in 2020, and President Buhari is stuck in 1983.#FreeSowore

This is the height of it. This brainless tyrant @MBuhari just think he owns everybody and can arrest or brutalise anyone at will. After restricting @YeleSowore to Abuja for over a year and denying him access to family, U still attacked him? What exactly is it U want? #FreeSowore
