The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has relieved Professor B.O Osadoloro of his duty as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday, Obaseki said the action took effect on Tuesday.
As Osadolor’s replacement, the Governor approved Professor Sunny Adagbonyi as the new Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University.
For the role of Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, the Governor named Professor Theo O. Agueda while Professor Marshall Azeke was appointed Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics.
Obaseki wrote in part, “I have, in the exercise of my powers under the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Law and the Special Intervention Law, 2021, relieved Professor B.O. Osadolor of his appointment as Acting Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma with effect from Tuesday, 8th February 2022.”
