The Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole combating Boko Haram Terrorist elements in the Northeast of the country continues to achieve gigantic strides in a bid to completely wipe out the terrorists from the region.
In a massive air onslaught carried out on the 30th of November 2020 based on reliable intelligence, the Air Task Force successfully neutralised some Boko Haram fighters in the Sambisa Forest and it also destroyed the dwelling place of some of their leaders in Yale, Borno State.
The attack on the miscreants on those locations came after intelligence report confirmed that the locations harbour some of the fighters that recently launched an attack on innocent civilians.
This latest development was made known by the Director, Defense Media Operations, Major-General John Enenche in a statement titled;
“OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE: AIR TASK FORCE DESTROYS TERRORISTS’ LEADERS’ DWELLINGS, NEUTRALIZES SEVERAL FIGHTERS AT YALE, SAMBISA FOREST IN BORNO STATE”
