Super Falcons star striker Asisat Oshoala is set to leave reigning Spanish Women’s champions FC Barcelona Feminí this summer four years after she arrived at the club.
According to a post on Brila FM X account, Oshoala has already picked Bay FC in the United States as her preffered destination citing “personal reasons.”
The transfer fee is said to be in the region of €150,000.
Having played for Liverpool and Arsenal’s women’s team respectively, Oshoala arrived at Barcelona Femení in the summer of 2019 from Dalian Quanjian where she scored 23 goals in 20 appearances.
Oshoala’s time woth the Spanish champions has been highly sucessful in terms of goals and trophies won.
The striker currently has 115 goals for the club over the last five years.
Oshoala, the reigning CAF Women’s Player of the Year has won 12 trophies with the club including 4 league titles and 2 UEFA Women’s Champions League titles.
She emerged as the Spanish Women’s football top division top scorer with 20 goals in the 2021/2022 football season.
