Osun minor accuses father of rape!

A minor, who wishes to remain anonymous, has accused her father, Adebayo Lukman, of having carnal knowledge of her.

The 13-year-old victim, who lives in Erin-Osun in Osun State’s Irepodun Local Government, claims her father raped her two years ago.

The father was arrested after a tip-off from an informant in Erin-Osun that the daughter was being abused by her parents, according to a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, Osun State Command, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Daniel Adigun.

When the kid was three years old, her parents divorced, and her father took her away from her grandma to live with his father, according to Adigun.

The father denied knowing anything about the girl.

Meanwhile, the Corps has seized custody of the girl and has given her over to the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs pending the outcome of the investigation.

CC Emmanuel Ocheja, the corps state commandant, has also ordered a probe into the suspected case of incest and illegal canal knowledge of the juvenile.

Presently the girl is psychologically disturbed to give a vivid account of her ordeal but with tact, the Corps will scoop out useful information to help the girl, NSCDC will not condole such act in any guise, the protection of underage and female folk is paramount not only to the individuals but to the nation as a whole”, the statement reads.
