The reward varies, one might a political post, monthly salary, a huge contract among others. The important thing is to get something tangible from the “cookie jar” when one’s candidate wins an election.
An Oyo State Politician who has not gotten anything from the “cookie jar” since Seyi Makinde emerged as governor of Oyo State since May 29th last year unleashed his anger and disappointment on a video currently circulating online.
He said he worked tirelessly for Seyi Makinde before he became governor of the state, yet he is suffering while others are enjoying “government’s money.”
He said this in a meeting with some of the PDP party leaders in the state.
