After 26 years of being away from his country of birth, UFC Welterweight Champion, Kamarudeen “Kamaru” Usman is back in Nigeria.
After meeting with Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello last week, Kamaru Usman stopped by to pay a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the statehouse.
Kamaru Usman had a short chat with the governor and presented his title to the governor.
The 34-year-old holds a record of 19 wins in 20 fights since he made his professional debut in the Ultimate Fight Champion in December 2015 where he defeated Leon Edwards via unanimous decision.
His recent conquest came in April as he defeated Jorge Masvidal in a rematch via knockout in the second round.
