PHOTOS: Several ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists killed and weapons recovered as Nigerian Army continue massive onslaught in the North East!

The Nigerian Army has been sustaining the tempo in its massive and unrentless onslaught on ISWAP/Boko Haram criminal elements in the North East of the country.

Based on credible intelligence received by the Nigerian Army, troops of 212 battalion, sector 1 of Operation Lafiya Dole repelled the terrorists in Gajigana in Nzangai Local Government Area of Borno State.

The Attack Aircraft and Helicopter Gunships also provided support to the ground troops in the heated exchange of fire.

Items recovered by the Nigerian Army include: two AK-47 rifles, 3 Magazines, 36 rounds of 7.62 millimeter ammunition, 36 hand grenades and 3 LG3 bombs.

The Army high command congratulated the troops and reiterated its commitment in wiping out terrorists and other criminal elements in all parts of the country.
