One would have thought that with the current COVID-19 Pandemic that has hampered Nigeria’s Economy and the recent borrowings, President Buhari will be prudent with his spendings.
However President Buhari has continued his naira rain with the humongous 27 billion naira he showered upon the National Assembly for the renovation of its complex.
Reports has it that 8n the revised 2020 budget, the Federal Government slashed primary health care centres’ fund from N44.4bn to N25.5bn and universal basic education fund from N111.7bn to N51.1bn.

We are repeatedly borrowing money, now we want to renovate NASS at N27b. Make it make sense. Why are we borrowing money if we are still spending like money isn’t a big deal?

Dear @MBuhari pls kindly forget about the renovation of the National Assembly and use the 27bn to empower the youths and also provide proper interventions to our farmers. To the Senate President, this is not the time to be renovating the NASS. Our people are hungry….
