Plateau State Governor, Solomon Lalong has rewarded Miss Slyvia Ulan Matthew – an incident of the state who got 9 A1s in the recently-concluded West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Sylvia Ulan Matthew who hails from Bokkos Local Government Area of the state is a student of Premier Academy in Abuja.
She, alongside her mother, met with the Governor at the statehouse recently and she was offered a scholarship to any University of her choice.
It was also gathered that Miss Sylvia previously won a scholarship from petroleum giants, Shell after she emerged as the overall best student in the national common entrance examination.
The Plateau State Governor also praised her mother for raising her without her father who died even before she was conceived.
