Oyo State Police Command said it has confirmed the death of the leader of the notorious cult group, “One Million Boys” known as Abiola Ebila in Ibadan yesterday.
Olugbenga Fadeyi, the Command’s spokesperson confirmed the incident when he spoke to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday.
In his words;
“Information reaching me from the Divisional Police Officer, Idi-Arere, showed that his body and that of his colleagues, who confronted the policemen strategically deployed in that axis, were brought with a tricycle to Kudeti.
“At that instance, two of their members were also arrested, so they retrieved and brought the bodies to the station.
“He has been on the wanted list of the police and the police have been trailing him.
“What actually transpired and details on how he was killed, I don’t have them now, but he has been confirmed dead.’’
The Police Spokesperson however said he does not have the exact details as to what led to his death.
According to NAN, Abiola Ebila has been on Police wanted list after for his suspected involvement in the death of another gang leader known as Ekugbemi on the 12th of May.
