The ban on all forms of #EndSARS protest by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike came late last night as he cited that the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has already scrapped the unit.
He also called on Parents and Guardians to caution their wards as he cited that violators of the ban will be brought to book.
However, youths in the state have defied the Governor’s order as a large number of young people were seen opposite Pleasure Park area of the state protesting peacefully.
The protesters carried placards with various #EndSARS related inscriptions as they continue to amplify their demands.

#PhProtest is gathering momentum
Emperor Wike is trash. His only goodwill was fighting Amaechi. We all supported him against Amaechi, bcos we hate godfathers. Rivers State does not belong to Wike. #EndPoliceBrutality #SARMUSTENDNOW #EndSARS #SarsMustGoNow pic.twitter.com/meUWsda6hs
