Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami has been in the news for the past few days after a report published by NewswireNg showed that he has links to terrorist networks like Al Qaeda and Boko Haram.

The publication was later retracted after the Minister threatened to sue the major news platforms who published the news on Wednesday.

However, further reports by Peoples Gazette in the past few days have shown that the Minister might not be entirely innocent of being an apologist of terrorist ideas or networks.

“We are all happy whenever unbelievers are being killed,” Mr. Pantami said. “But the Sharia does not allow us to kill them without a reason.”

In another publication, Mr. Pantami also condemned working in the public service as he condemned his colleagues who accepted to work there.
