Renée Bargh lands new gig on Today show as an entertainment presenter – one year after leaving Los Angeles to restart her career in Australia

Renée Bargh is an Emmy Award winning TV host with years of experience reporting for Extra in the US.

And after relocating to Australia last year, she has landed herself a new gig as the entertainment presenter for the Today show.

Unfortunately, the role is just temporary, with Renee filling in as Richard Wilkins and Brooke Boney enjoy a well-deserved break over the holiday period.

On Tuesday, the 36-year-old shared a photo of herself on the set of the Channel Nine breakfast show to Instagram.

She showed off her chic outfit from Monday’s filming – a brown button-up vest top with matching wide leg trousers – teamed with black sandals and gold jewellery.

The blonde beauty styled her long and luscious blonde locks in loose waves that cascaded down her shoulders.

‘Waking up with @thetodayshow every day this week talking all things entertainment,’ she began in her post, hinting her stint would only be over this week.

‘Shout out to the amazing glam team for making me look alive at 5am,’ she added.

In another post on Instagram, she shared a photo of herself in a stylish look for Tuesday, consisting of a blue mini shift dress with white heels.

Renée’s week-long stint filling in as Today’s entertainment reporter comes after her appearance on Dancing with The Stars as a ‘wild-card’ contestant on rival network Channel Seven.

Prior to her joining the dance competition, she was on Channel Nine’s The Voice as a co-host alongside Darren McMullen.

In her early days, Renée had hosting gigs on Channel [V] Australia, and Channels Nine and Seven, before moving Los Angeles in 2010.

There she worked as Extra’s weekend co-host and correspondent reporting from the red carpet of events such as film premieres and award shows.

During her time, she interviewed big names such as Mariah Carey and Brad Pitt.

Renée still continues duties for Extra, however as their Australia correspondent after relocating in 2020.
