Rihanna is world’s richest female musician
Singer Rihanna is the world’s wealthiest female musician with a networth which has been estimated at $600 million which she’s earned from a variety of industries.
According to Forbes, the 32-year-old is currently richer than Madonna who has a fortune of $570 million, Celine Dion with $450 million and Beyonce, who’s estimated at $400 million.
Born Robyn Rihanna Fenty on 20 February 1988, the Barbadian singer, actress, and businesswoman was discovered by American record producer Evan Rogers who invited her to the United States to record demo tapes.
After signing with Def Jam in 2005, she soon gained recognition with the release of her first two studio albums, Music of the Sun (2005) and A Girl like Me (2006), both of which were influenced by Caribbean music and peaked within the top ten of the US Billboard 200 chart.
Rihanna currently owns a $14 million penthousein Manhattan, New York while she also purchased a house in West London for £7 million in June 2018, in order to be closer to her work with her FENTY fashion label.
In December 2018, the singer put her Hollywood Hills mansion up for sale after a break-in six months before. The mansion was reported to have been selling for $10.4m.
Rihanna has been romantically linked with a lot of men including rapper Drake and Saudi businessman Jameel Hassan after her publicised break-up with musician Chris Brown.
