One of the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) was almost lynched to death by an agree mob at the popular Computer Village in Ikeja Lagos.

He and his colleagues who didn’t dress in police uniforms but mufti, stormed Computer Village to arrest a shop owner and they were immediately surrounded by an angry mob who almost got him killed.

Apparenttly, the Federal Government’s ban on all the illegal activities of SARS and other tactical squads issued out yesterday after online protest on social media, is clearly not being obeyed.

The last 24 hours has seen massive online outrage against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad as most Nigerians task the Federal Government to abolish the Police unit.
