The North-central region in the country has been witnessing a high degree of criminalities such as kidnapping, armed banditry among others which has made peace a luxury in the region for a while now.
The government has reiterated its promise to end criminalities in the region with the help of the military and other security agents in Jos and other places in the region.
However, it appears the residents of Jos are no longer waiting for the government to solve the security challenges in the country as they raised their voices in songs and prayers yesterday.
At least, about two thousand Christians took to the streets of Jos on a prayer walk as they lift their voices to God in a bid to end the high level of criminalities in the region, the North at large and also police brutality in the country.
