Troops of Operation Tura Takaibango continues to sustain the momentum against Boko Haram insurgents in the Northeast region as they have yet again achieved another victory against the sect.
No less than 10 Boko Haram fighters lost their lives after they were engaged by troops in Gogore areaa of Borno State yesterday.
With close air support by the Nigerian Air Force Fighter Jets and Helicopter Gunships, troops also destroyed the hideouts which housed the terrorists.
A gun truck, three machines guns and several rounds of ammunition were also recovered by the troops.
This comes only a few days after the newly appointed service chiefs visited the headquarters of the Theatre of Operations, Operation Lafiya Dole in Maiduguri.

The military high command has started that troops will not relent until all criminal elements are completely wiped out and normalcy restored to all areas in the region.
