Selling Sunset: Jason Oppenheim reveals his brokerage has sold $2 BILLION in real estate 2

Jason Oppenheim, 45, has revealed just how successful his Sunset Strip brokerage is.

Speaking on the anticipated reunion episode for season five of Selling Sunset, Jason, who co-owns The Oppenheim Group with his twin brother Brett, said the brokerage has banked $2billion in real estate sales since it opened in 2013.

Jason and Brett take a cut of the huge commissions earned by the glam real estate agents who star on the hit Netflix show.

Jason was questioned about his billion-dollar business by reunion host Tan France, who was keen to know why his top-selling agent and The Oppenheim Group’s vice president Mary Fitzgerald hadn’t bought her own house yet.

‘What are you spending your money on’, Tan asked Mary, pointing out she is one of the brokerage’s top performing agents.

Maya Vander then quipped: ‘That buys Jason’s place,’ prompting Tan to ask: ‘I want to know what the total dollar amount that you have sold in real estate to date?’

Jason was open, telling him: ‘Close to $2billion I think. That includes a lot of the sales from these amazing women here.’

Jason and Brett are worth around $50million each thanks to their huge success.

‘I’m not certain I want to sell it, I’m more inclined to lease it because I love the house so much. But I decided to put it on the market both for sale and for lease regardless. I’m always a seller at the right price,’ Jason told People.
