Godwin Obaseki of the People’s Democratic Party has emerged winner of the Edo State Gubernatorial Election as the incumbent Governor won with a difference of 84,376 votes.
Godwin Obaseki polled 307,955 votes to defeat his closest rival, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, of the All Progressives Congress, who recorded 223,619 votes.
As expected, loyalist of the People’s Democratic Party are already throwing jibes on social media at the opposition party – All Progressive Congress and former Senator, Dino Melaye went a step further by making a video.
Dino Melaye composed a song as he mocked former Edo State Governor and All Progressive Congress National Chairman, Adams Oshiomole for losing successfully to Obaseki.
