‘First run for the year done. For me, completing the 0-5km KICRUN program wasn’t just about running 5km non stop. It was to work on my running fitness and to see if regular runs in my routine would make me hate it a little less,’ she wrote.
While Steph finds the cardio workout a challenge, she’s aiming to keep it up in 2022.
‘I can confidently say that I no longer hate running… it’s still not my favourite form of exercise but I love that I’ve proven to myself that I can be a runner and that I can enjoy it,’ she added.
‘An intention of mine this year is to keep running, at least once or twice a week and anywhere between 3-5km.’
