The elders of the Synagogue Church of All Nations have declared Mrs. Evelyn Joshua, the wife of the late General Overseer as the new leader of the Church.

A source who spoke to People’s Gazette said that Mrs. Evelyn who has been acting as the deputy of the late Pastor is likely to be assigned as the new leader.

A source also gave the reason why Mrs. Evelyn was selected why the other Pastors were ineligible for the post.

“None of the pastors were trained to succeed him. I would have known if any existed. For now, the wife has taken charge,” he said, “Someone must take charge immediately and give spiritual direction on the mode of service continuity. So much spiritual and financial efforts went into building SCOAN and it cannot just waste away.’’

Pastor T.B Joshua who died on the 5th of June will be buried in the premises of the Lagos Church as opposed to the request of the wish of the traditional leaders in Arigidi Akoko – T.B Joshua’s hometown in Ondo State.

Mrs. Evelyn and her late husband have been married for three decades with three children before his death.
