Two people have reportedly died after members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) clashed with security operatives during a peaceful protest in Enugu.
Reports also have that about 10 IPOB members were also arrested during the protest while others suffered various degrees of injuries.
According to a witness who recorded some. of the scenes, one of the injured persons was shot by an officer of the Nigerian Army.
He also said men of the Nigerian Police Force shot at people sporadically during the exercise

The group and Nigerian security forces have clashed a good number of times before now as the separatist group continue to agitate for the independence of the Biafran state.
Nnadmi Kanu, leader of the seperatist group, last week, called for the intervention of the United States and the United Kingdom over the arrest of 70 of his members by security operatives in Nigeria.
