The life of a young man was cut short today in Enugu after he was attacked by a group of masked Unknown Gunmen.

The man was chased dragged out from a car and was shot almost immediately before the masked men drove off.

Tensions continue to rise in the Southeast of the country with regards to activities of armed men who have now been branded as “Unknown Gunmen” in the mainstream media. 

In recent times, police stations and INEC offices in the region have come under continuous attack by armed men.

The attacks have led to rye death of police officers, destruction of police infrastructures as well as other valuables.
