Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye was in action for his new club Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch KNVB cup yesterday.

Although his team lost on penalties 5-3 to Ado Den Haag after the match ended one-all after regulation time but the Super Eagles midfielder had an exceptional game between the sticks.

The 21-year-old 6ft6 goalkeeper put his sharp reflexes into good use as he kept his side in the game till they lost on penalties.

Maduka was on for 120 minutes, made five saves and he had 7 accurate long balls out of 16 attempts.

Maduka Okoye joined the Dutch side from Fortuna Dusseldorf this summer after three years at the German club.
