Why you have to reopen the Entertainment industry – Music star, Falz appeals to Federal Government!

Songwriter and recording artiste, Folarin Falana otherwise known as Falz has appealed to the Federal Government to consider the reopening of cinemas, parks and other relaxation centres in the country.

The Son of popular lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana said the entertainment industry must be allowed to get back to business after several months of lockdown due to COVID-19

Falz said if religious centers, markets and other sectors of the Economy have been allowed to open howbeit with safety precautions being adhered to, then the entertainment industry should also be given the green the light to resume business as well.

The “Bop Daddy” crooner took to his twitter handle to express his thoughts moments after Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation announced that International flights would resume in the country on the later this month – 29th precisely.

Falz said;

Restaurants have reopened, airlines have been operating, places of worship have also been permitted to reopen. Let’s not even start to talk about all the videos that have surfaced of political rallies happening, clearly neglecting all safety precautions.”

“Right now, we don’t see anything but a government that contributes little or nothing to its creative sector and continues to attempt to stifle the sector in every way. Thousands of people have been left without any way to earn for several months.”

“The entertainment industry must be allowed to gradually get back in business. Let’s start with cinemas reopening with all safety precautions in place.”
