A woman has been found dead with serious injuries to her face in a suspected domestic violence attack.
The 38-year-old’s body was found in a flat on Bondi Beach about 5am on Thursday with wounds police believe are suspicious.
A man known to the victim is being questioned at Waverley Police Station but no charges have been laid.
Police are investigating whether the woman’s injuries were caused by a domestic violence attack at the four-storey O’Brien Street apartment block.
‘NSW ambulance paramedics attended and treated the 38-year-old woman. She was unable to be revived and died at the scene,’ police said.
The area is cordoned off while police investigate the crime scene.
