Forty-three adults left their homes on the morning of Saturday, 28th of November, 2020 to work but they didn’t know it will be their last day on earth.
No less than 43 adults were slaughtered in cold blood by members of the deadly terrorist sect, Boko Haram on a rice farm in Jere Local Government Area of the State.
The incident, according to reports happened in Koshebe village near Zabamari, Maiduguri Borno State.
Reports also suggest that the miscreants tied up the rice farmers before butchering them one after the other.

A well-known investigative journalist from TVC, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju also confirmed the incident via a tweet.
He said;
“I just spoke with a lawmaker representing Jere local government, Borno state. He confirmed that 43 farmers were indeed beheaded in Koshebe village, near Zabamari. Sad day for our country.”

The high level of carnage in the Northeast especially and other parts of the region continues to put a question mark on the capability of the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to successfully put an end to the security challenges in the region as well as other parts of the country.
The activities of Boko Haram over the last decade in the region has led to the displacement of over 1.5 million people and the death of over 30,000 people.
