Popular Nigerian artiste Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan has been cautioned by BashirAhmaad the  Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari over his comments about the deadly Coronavirus.

Zlatan previously said in a live Instagram video chat that he does not believe in the existence of the deadly Coronavirus.

On Sunday, April 19, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed eighty-six new cases of Coronavirus.

After the agency shared the news, Zlatan took to his official Twitter account to react to the post with emojis of laughter.

Ahmad then quotes the Tweet by Zlatan with a response that said, “Zlatan, as President Buhari stated in his national broadcast on April 13th, ‘this is not a joke, it’s a matter of life and death.’

Ahmad then further went to explain teh reason for barking at Zlatan, he said “I can see some people are angry with my reply to Zlatan’s tweet, which he made a joke out of NCDC’s last night update on #COVID19Nigeria. I didn’t reply him as Zlatan, I replied him as a celebrity, who has hundreds of followers. Again, ‘this whole #COVID19 issue is not a joke.”
