On October 14th, 2006 England defender John Terry played as a defender for Chelsea.
The game was a Premier League clash between Chelsea and Reading at the Madejski Stadium.
The game ended in a 1-0 win for Chelsea but they had to do it with nine men.
John Obi Mikel received his second yellow card of the game and Chelsea were down to 10 men.
Substitute goalkeeper Cudicini suffered a nasty injury after a clash with Ibrahim Sonko.
John Terry had to step up as captain to be the goalkeeper as Chelsea already used all their substitutions.
