3 things we learned as Chelsea beat Burnley 3-0
Chelsea beat Burnley 3-0 away from home at Turf Moor in a Premier League encounter played on Saturday, October 31st.
It was a much-needed win for Frank Lampard’s side who move into the top four after dropping points against Manchester United last week.
The blues went ahead when Hakim Ziyech converted a ball through to him by Tammy Abraham a lead which they maintained till the halftime break.
Kurt Zouma converted a ball by Mason Mount while Ziyech created the third for Timo Werner.
Here are three things we learned from Chelsea’s win
1 Hakim Ziyech is the first player to score in both of his first two starts for Chelsea in all competitions since Diego Costa in August 2014.
2 Kurt Zouma has scored three goals in six premier league games in 2020-21 – his best ever tally in any season in the competition
3 Since the start of last season, only Robert Lewandowski (37) has scored more goals when excluding penalties in Europe’s big-five leagues than Timo Werner
