Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen scored and handed over penalty kick duty to teammate Piotr Zielinski in Napoli win over Udinese.
Napoli beat Udinese 4-1 in a Serie A fixture on Wednesday, September 27 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
The Naples based club had a spot kick in the 19th minute which Poland midfielder Zielinski duly converted.
Osimhen made it 2-0 in the 39th minute for the host team and 2022/23 Serie A player of the season Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made it 3-0 in the 74th minute.
Lazar Samrdzic pulled one back for Udinese in the 80th minute and Giovanni Simeone who was substituted in for Osimhen made it 4-1 a minute later.
This is Osimhen’s first game since the widely slammed videos on the Napoli TikTok account which made jest of the striker.
The 24 year old’s agent had earlier released a scathing statement and threatened to sue the club.
Osimhen also deleted all Napoli-related pictures from his social media.
Osimhen has scored four goals in six Serie A matches this term.
Napoli are currently fifth in the Serie A standings with a total of 11 points from six games.
