Marcus Rashford came on as a second half substitute in the F.A third round second leg against Wolves at Old trafford with about twenty minutes from time as the Red Devils tried to breach a resolute Wolverhampton defense line.
The 22 year old suffered a back injury after a tackle from a Wolves player. Although, Manchester United won the game eventually 1-0 but the Red Devils would have to be without their best player for the next few months. Rashford is Manchester United’s top scorer this season with 19 goals.
With the break across most football activities globally as a result of the Coronavirus, it looks like a perfect time for Rashford to return.
While speaking to one of the major news outlets in the United Kingdom, Rashford says he feels much better and he’s already looking forward to return to training.
I feel much better. I have a scan in another couple of days and that should solidify it, but I feel much better compared to two or three weeks ago,”
“I feel 10 times better now. For me, now it’s just about getting ready to build up back up to training and then playing games for the team
“I’m in a much better place. I’m much happier than I was about a month ago so things are looking positive.”
