The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced the dates for Super Eagles final round of matches in the 2024 AFCON qualification series.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on The Cheetars of Benin Republic on November 14 at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny in Abidjan.
The final match of the qualification series will take place four dyas later at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo where the Super Eagles will host the Amavubi of Rwanda.
Nigeria currently top Group D with 10 points after CAF awarded the three-time Africa Cup of Nations champions 3 points and 3 goals following a disciplinary ruling on the botched match with Libya.
The first leg against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya ended 1 nil in favour of Nigeria in Uyo on October 11 but the second leg didn’t hold after the Libyan authorities held the Super Eagles for 20 hours at the Al Abraq airport.
The Super Eagles only need a point from the two matches to seal qualification for next year’s tournament in Morocco.
