Babajide and Gift scored for the second time in a row in Costa Adeje Tenerife’s 2-1 over Valencia at the Estadio Antonio Puchades on Sunday evening.
Rinsola Babajide inspired her team to a comeback win after conceding early in the match.
Moroccan midfielder Yasmin Mrabet gave Valencia the lead in the 13th minute with a header via a corner.
Costa Adeje Tenerife controlled the game and recorded three shots on target in the first half despite being a goal down.
The visitors started the second half the same way they ended the first, and their pressure on Valencia’s defense paid off.
Babajide converted from the penalty spot a few minutes after the restart to equalize for the visitors.
Both teams created chances to take the lead, and it was Gift Monday who scored the winner for Costa Adeje Tenerife late in the match.
Monday Gift scored in the 90th minute, using a composed finish. She buried the ball into the middle of the goal.
The Super Falcons forward has now scored in five consecutive matches for Costa Adeje Tenerife, bringing her league tally to 10 in 16 matches.
Rinsola Babajide, on the other hand, has seven goals in 15 appearances in the league so far.
