Victor Osimhen’s reunion with Galatasaray is now subject to his medical after sealing a permanent deal to the Turkish champions for a club record fee.
After leading the club to a domestic double last season, where he scored 31 goals in both competitions, Osimhen returns to the Turkish capital on a permanent deal, ending his three-year stint at Napoli.
Osimhen signed a four-year contract with the reigning Turkish champions with the option to extend for a further year, according to reports.
The deal is reportedly worth €75 million, with Galatasaray mandated to pay €40 million now and the balance at the end of 2026, according to the contractual agreement between both clubs.
Osimhen is set to arrive in Istanbul on Thursday ahead of his scheduled medical before his official unveiling as a Galatasaray player.
The Super Eagles striker is set to replicate his imperious form with the club ahead of the new football season.
Osimhen had a successful loan spell, as he helped the club win the Turkish League and Cup last season.
Meanwhile, Osimhen’s teammate, Alvaro Morata, is set to leave the club for Italian Serie A side Como this summer.
The Spanish striker is reportedly keen on the move, which is subject to Osimhen’s return to Galatasaray.
