
Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon received a hero’s welcome on his return to his former club Nantes on Saturday in a friendly match.
Simon returned to the Stade de la Beaujoire – Louis Fonteneau in the colors of his new club Paris FC in a friendly match.
The 30-year-old winger received a guard of honour, a standing ovation and a plaque before the match on Saturday afternoon.
Moses Simon was in action for the entire duration of the match as Paris sealed a 3-2 win over his former side.
The winger faced-off with his former Super Eagles teammate, Chidozie Awaziem who returns to the club for his second stint.
Alimani Gory and Ilan Kebbal inspired the visitors to comeback win in the second half after the first ended 2-1 in favour of the home side.
Simon sealed a move from Nantes to Paris FC this summer after six years with the Canaries.
During his stint, the Nigerian winger scored 33 goals and assisted other goal scorers 37 times in 177 appearances. He also helped Nantes win the Coupe de France over OGC Nice in the 2021-22 season.
