Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly extended his stay at the hospital after his right forearm surgery.
The 27-year-old striker got injured in a Champions League clash against Liverpool three weeks ago and underwent successful surgery afterwards.
However, Osimhen has refused to be discharged following the successful surgery as he prefers to stay in the hospital to recover fully.
Osimhen was meant to be discharged a day after his surgery, but he reportedly said, “I don’t want to be discharged, I want my care here.”
While the surgery was underway, Galatasaray president Dursun Ă–zbek, Abdullah Kavucku, and head coach Okan Buruk were present at the hospital.
According to a news outlet in Turkey, Forza Cimbom, Galatasaray put a security guard at the door of Osimhen’s room at the hospital.
Victor Osimhen is expected to return to action soon as Galatasaray sets its sights on winning its 26th Turkish Super Lig title.
