Besiktas Plot Summer Move For Super Eagles’ Tolu Arokodare

Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas are reportedly interested in signing Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare this summer.

Reports in Turkey believe that Besiktas plans to reignite its interest in the Nigerian striker after the deal to bring him in January failed to materialise.

Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly demanded a fee in the region of €25m-€30m for Arokodare, while Besiktas tabled €15m.

However, Besiktas are planning to return this summer with an improved offer for the services of the former Genk striker.

Arokodare joined Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer from Genk, where he finished as top scorer last season.

The 25-year-old has only managed four goals from 30 appearances in all competitions this season.

However, his time at the Midlands hasn’t been as he would have wished, as Wolves are currently fighting to beat the drop in the Premier League.
