British born forward of Nigerian descent Bukayo Saka was on target for Arsenal who beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 away from home in a Premier League encounter played on Saturday, July 4th.
The Gunners have been impressive recently racking up three straight wins but faced a Wolves side that were undefeated since the restart.
The game was close and it seemed the first half would be goalless until Saka converted a well whipped cross by Kieran Tierney in the 43rd minute as Arsenal to the lead at the halftime break.
Saka’s goal was his first in the Premier League and comes just days after he signed a new long term contract with the Gunners.
The second half was closely contested but Arsenal scored their second in the 86th minute when Alexander Lacazette converted a ball across by Joe Willock.
The Gunners have now won four in a row and are back in the race for Champions League football next season.
