Wolverhampton Wanderers kept control of its top six destiny by handing Crystal Palace their seventh straight defeat in a 2-0 at the Molineux on Monday night.

Daniel Podence and Johnny Otto scored for the sixth place Wolves who can bulldoze their way into an Europa League qualifying spot if they have a positive result at Chelsea on Sunday.

With 59 points, they are three behind Man Utd and Leicester though United have two matches left, Wednesday’s home game against West Ham before Sunday’s finale at Leicester City.

Crystal Palace’s 42 points put them safe in 14th but they can finish a step higher if they win at home to Tottenham.
