Troost-Ekoong pockets Ronaldo as Udinese put Juventus title celebration on hold after 2-1 victory
Super Eagles defender Williams Troost-Ekong had a fantastic night as he put up a brilliant performance and a half in Udinese’s 2-1 shock victory over Juventus at the Dacia Arena in Udine.
Troost-Ekoong played all ninety minutes as the home side recorded a monumental victory over the old ladies at home for the first time in ten years.
Matthijs De Light gave the away side the lead with a sublime strike in the first half before Ilija Nestorovsky’s restored parity with a thumping header in the second half.
Troost-Ekoong assisted Seko Fofana with the winning goal late in the game as the Frenchman shattered Juventus’heart with fine solo goal in the 92nd minute.

The Super Eagles defender was part of a three man defense that kept Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala silent for most part of the game as they stay further clear off the relegation zone.
With three matches to go, Juventus need just one win to he crowned Champions for the ninth consecutive time.
