Bayern Munich beat PSG 1-0 to win Champions League

German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich beat French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain 1-0 to win the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League.

Bayern Munich were favourites to win after a stunning 8-2 win over Barcelona in the quarterfinals and a 3-0 win against Lyon in the semifinal.

Bayern Munich and PSG are regarded as two of the best teams in world football setting up a tantalizing final.

The first half ended goalless with chances at both sides for the two teams mostly for PSG with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe failing to convert.

In the second half, Bayern Munich broke the deadlock to take the lead.

In the 59th minute, Kingsley Coman nodded in a delicious cross by  Joshua Kimmich to put Bayern Munich in front.

PSG would create little after going behind as Bayern Munich held on to win their sixth Champions League crown.
