Man City defender Zinchenko reacts to his wife blaming Guardiola for Champions League failure
Manchester City defender Oleksandr Zinchenko has reacted to his wife blaming Pep Guardiola for their Champions League failure.
Zinchenko was not in action as Manchester City lost to French Ligue 1 side Lyon in their quarterfinal encounter.
This was the third straight time Manchester City would be eliminated from the quarterfinals.
After the game, Zinchencko’s wife Vlada has criticized Pep Guardiola’s tactics for the match with Lyon.
Vlada who is a journalist stated that it was a mistake for Guardiola to play with three central defenders.
She said, “I have no right to criticise, but why play 3 central defenders.
“They are well aware that with such tactics there will always be a lack of one player in front.”
