England open door for Nigeria to call up Bukayo Saka
England have opened the door for Nigeria to call up Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka.
Saka was born in England to Nigerian parents.
He had a breakout season with the Gunners and many expected him to get a senior call up.
However, England boss Gareth Southgate released the list for England’s upcoming games against Iceland in Reykjavik on Saturday 5 September and then Copenhagen to face Denmark on Tuesday 8 September.
Saka was not included in the team with some of his age mates Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden included.
Saka has played for England at youth level and opens the door for Nigeria.
